Hunting Season Information
North Carolina is divided into 4 regional deer seasons, Western,
North Western, Central, and Eastern. Information on each will be coming soon!
Eastern Deer Season

Central Deer Season
| Archery | September 13 - November 6 |
| Muzzleloader | November 8 - November 13 |
| Rifle | November 15 - January 1 |
Northwestern Deer Season
| Archery | September 13 - November 13 |
| Muzzleloader | November 15 - November 20 |
| Rifle | November 22 - December 11 |
Western Deer Season

Deer Bag Limits
* Either-Sex seasons vary, check the Regulations Digest for
Dates in your county. *
- Daily 2
- Possession-6, two of which must be anterless.
- Season 6, Two of which must be antlerless.
- Antlerless deer harvested under the Deer Management Assistance Program are not included
in normal statewide bag limits.
- Hunters using those areas must follow harvest restrictions prescribed in the DMAP program.
